Adinkra Symbols are visual symbols with philosophical significance which was originally printed on cloth which royals wore to important ceremonies. Adinkra Symbols originate from the Gyaman people of Ghana and Cote D'Ivore. These symbols symbolize the richness of the Akan culture and serve as a shorthand for communicating deep truths in visual form.
